OK, as I noted on one of my other Flyboy fic recs, I'm not real big on the whole vampire thing...I kind of tolerated the "Lost Boys" and "Buffy" movies, and have pretty much been "meh" about everything else vampire-ry since... But since it's one of my favorite Mavid authors, I'll give it a shake. :)

This fic has David as a vampire hunter, tho (along with nearly the entire cast of popular - and not-so-popular - previous and current Idols to boot!), and that has some seriously interesting angsty potential... :) You'll see what I mean. :(

Seriously, guys -- she is just that good, and this sequel is shaping up to be just as fucking amazing as that one, if anything can be judged by the first chapter and by her hints at what's to come... This time, we see their relationship from David's POV, and... well, you know how I feel about that, right? :D

ETA: Okay, I just couldn't let this go without saying this, seriously... This is the most amazing fic I have ever read in any of my fandoms. I cannot believe the way in which the author uses words to such great effect, and the depth of emotion in those words just cut me so deeply... Good Goddess, it's unreal.

Seriously, even if you don't like slash (and there's really not that much actual slash in it, mind you), this fic is absolutely brilliant. It makes me embarrassed to even consider writing in this fandom myself, because anything I might write would absolutely pale in comparison to this fic. I love it THAT MUCH.
